Love Jungle Tans I have tanned at Jungle tans throughout High School and College.. They never pressure you to buy, and they dont judge you when you walk in the door! I tried tanning at Pacific Beach tan for a few months and I dont know about anyone else but I do not wear makeup when I take for the sake of my skin and at Pacfic Beach they made me feel ugly and that I was not good enough for them when I wasnt wearing a facefull of makeup like all of them do. BAD BUSINESS AND DONT CHANGE LAMPS This salon is Way over Priced! not only that they only change the lamps when one or 2 go out!I have tanned in one with 8 lamps out and they told me oh the come on a bit after the bed is started! NO They were out the whole time! the beds are all Dinged up... The owner has no customer service skills what so ever. In there a few days ago and heard her gossiping about an ex employee. what kind of professional person would talk about an employee like that in front of customers! WILL NOT RETURN! ... read more
JUNGLE TANS IS EXCELLENT I VERY MUCH APPRECIATE THE COSTUMER SERVICE AT THIS PLACE. THE BEDS ARE GRAND AND THEY HAVE DIFFERENT ONES SO YOU SWITCH AROUND AND GET THE RESULT YOU WANT. THEYR MONTHLY SPECIALS SAVE YOU A HUGE AMOUNT OF MONEY... THE GIRLS THERE ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND I LOVE GOING THERE. I JUST CANT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS PLACE ! I LOVE IT!! THEY HAVE A GREAT CLEAN GRAND PLACE AND THE PEOPLE ARE SO FRIENDLY ! I ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO GOING AND LEAVE W A GRAND SMILE ...AND MUCH BRONZER! WINK
So, so Tanning They are pricey and clean, but I left feeling very white. I went three times and spent about $50 but never saw any color on my skin. For the prices they charge, they should at least change their bulbs! The girl at the front desk is running around in a bikini and couldn't care less about customer services. They seemed to have cheap lotion there but everything else was WAY overpriced.
Jungle Tans is AMAZING 12/30/09 I never tanned @ Jungle Tans before a week ago. I had tanned @ another place for 4 years!! I got pregnant so I had to stop for a little while. I was on my way home from work when I saw the 50% sign that caught my eye. So I stopped in to see how much they cost. VERY good prices for the AMAZING tan I got. Change is good! Well, now that Jungle Tans has new owners I think EVERYONE should try it! I have tanned her for several years and haven't really had any complaints except for the last owners were pretty unprofessional. The Salon itself was always very clean and the ladies working were very pleasant. I like that unlike most salon's out there now, you don't have to sign a contract. Courtious and Friendly Service, Great Prices My husband and I were going to Hawaii in 2 weeks and wanted to not look pale. Went to many other tanning salons and had to give our credit card and do a monthy package. Not at Jungle tans the owner was working and was Very helpful, We each bought a package and will return each time we are heading for sunny places. Their hours work for my schedule and they are super nice and courtious, which wasn' t the case at other businesses. I will tell everyone to go there.
Do not like the new "management" Be advised, when you cancel your tanning package and ask the receptionist to verify that your credit card will not be charged, that you get it in writing. I cancelled my tanning package April 16 and was told I would not be charged again in May. Alas, I was charged May 16 and was told by the manager/owner (very poor customer service) person "sorry, there's nothing I can do". Really? I highly doubt that. I've been in customer service for 15+ years and I would never, ever argue with a customer. ... read more
