It's been a few years since I've been in Portsmouth and I still miss this restaurant. Back then I would travel from Moncton, NB to Portsmouth, NH weekly and stop at Jumpin Jay's at least once a week. So many memorable meals. Mussels, Tuna with Wasabi Aioli and Mandarine Sesame Glaze, Scallops etc... Since I'm far for a regular visit I often try to make my own versions of items on the menu. My last attempt was to make the "Tuna Avocado Tartare" and it was delicious.
