I just had my first appointment (a standard eye exam) after years of neglecting to have one done following a bad experience with another optometrist. Dr. Julien was kind, informative and extremely efficient. These guys are busy for a reason. They're amazing. The receptionist was very kind and patient both on the phone and in person. They restored my faith in optometrists. Thank you Dr. Julien and the office staff for a great experience!
I went to Dr Rheaume for years before moving to the UdeM teaching clinic. I found Dr Rheaume to be rushed and unfriendly, he was not knowledgeable enough about kerataconus to highlight the importance of never rubbing the eye to avoid worsening the condition. He doesn't speak to his patients, he just tells the technicians instructions in front of you like he is too good to interact directly and tries to avoid answering questions that he clearly does not know the answers to.
