I’ve been seeing Julie S. Ponder, WHNP at North Oaks Magnolia Women’s for my prenatal care, and I can’t say enough good things about her. She has a calm, reassuring demeanor and is incredibly knowledgeable about her work. Every visit, she takes the time to talk to me like I truly matter, easing my anxiety and answering all of my questions without ever making me feel rushed, overwhelmed or stupid. Had the worst experience I’ve had out of any and every type of doctor I’ve ever seen. I was belittled and talked to in a passive aggressive manner then given an exam that I did not give consent for. Someone else came with me and she took their consent after I said no then fussed at me for crying about it and forcibly spread my legs to do the exam. Very nice and professional.
One of the rudest and most uncomfortable medical appointments I’ve ever had. I felt belittled and she made me feel as though my concerns weren’t valid and my complaint was stupid. I was crying in pain in front of her and she said to take some Tylenol and tough it out. I left that office never wanting to see another provider from magnolia ever again. This is 2023 health care? It’s appalling
