Went to Julie for help with ADHD meds. She treated me like I was drug seeking because I did not know how that worked. I gave her a list of reasons I felt I had ADHD and disclosed that I was really struggling. She got grumpy with me as if I was supposed to understand HER career. I told her that my dad and brother went to their PCP’s and got stimulants, and she said “well yeah, but you’re a woman and you’re discriminated against.” Verbatim.
