As I am having back pain (at random locations everyday), I went to MedStar Urgent Care. They took x-ray of my back and noticed some issue with my vertebral column / spine, so they referred me to Dr. Hoang. I call Dr. Hoang's office to schedule an appointment with her. I saw Dr. Hoang for the first time. I found her to be professional and polite. She examined me from her exam she stated I had spinal stenosis in my L4. She scheduled me for an MRI. After MRI results I was scheduled for an injection in my lower spine. The procedure went well. Dr.Hoang explained every step of the procedure. I felt very comfortable with her. I am to see her again. In 4 -5 weeks. I thank Dr.Jason Stein for referring her to me.❤️👍🏼
Terrible. After an hour and a half drive, this doctor comes in and asks where my cspine MRI is…first I’ve heard of it. ( I had a shoulder MRI and a shoulder injury) She did not examine me, she simply gave me a script for the cspine MRI and sent me packing. You couldn’t have called it in and I could have done it before my visit? Also, completely wrong diagnosis, she was looking at the spine bc that’s all she knows. It had been proven by other doctors that the pain is indeed coming from the shoulder and radiating into the neck... read more
Dr. Julie Hoang is awesome! She has the best bedside manner and she explains everything so clearly and professionally! I would highly recommend her.
She is kind, gentle and very helpful.
