I had a root canal done by Dr. Carrara in 2007, and even though they took post-op x-rays, they never told me there was a problem during the procedure. I only discovered a year later, after the tooth got infected, that Dr. Carrara perforated the root while doing the root canal! It also turned out that she did not use a microscope for the root canal, even though it is a standard now and ensures better chance of success. Since so much time have passed, there is a significant bone loss and not a good chance of saving the tooth. ... read more
I was extremely nervous about getting a root canal, but Dr. Carrara was very relaxed and informative. The entire experience was a positive one, and I would recommend Dr. Carrara and her staff to everyone in need of dental work.
They squeezed me in for an emergency root canal, and while she explained everything that she was doing (which I appreciate) I did feel somewhat rushed. This may have been the day I was in that was busy. The office is very nice and the staff was very helpful. I felt I was in good hands.
I had to have a root canal. Dr Carrara actually managed to make it a pleasant experience :-). A friendly smile, everything well explained, and (unbelievble) no pain at all!!! A bit pricey of course, but she's worth it.
They were able to get my right in as a new patient for a root canal!
Dr. Carrera was very professional, explained every thing to me which put me in a relaxed mood. Her staff was very nice and helpful regarding insurance. I would recommed everyone to her office.
Dr. Carrara was AWESOME! She was patient, communicated the entire root canal process to me before and during the procedure and guess what? She was funny, too. I was whisked into a chair within 2 minutes of arriving and the staff was very professional and pleasant. I was extremely apprehensive about getting my first root canal -- and the procedure was painless. Dr Carrara is a real pro - I will recommend her to anyone that needs a root canal performed.
Dr. Carrara is the GREATEST Dr. I have ever been to, her staff is very helpful they are all very charming. the girl in the front desk took very good care of me she explained the ins benefits to me so that i would'nt max out because i needed lots of other treatment done.
Dr. Carrara follows through - is professional. Office staff is a bit touchy.
