It's been a year since my L4-L5-S1 surgery in September 2024 and follow up laminectomy in March 2025 to treat related drop foot symptoms. I chose Dr. Barba for lumbar fusion surgery because of his years of experience and strength in the area. Very happy with the care I received. My only complaint is that he is difficult to talk to in the office- he runs through tons of information without giving the opportunity for questions.
spinal surgery...kept me involved before the surgery...appointments always on time and Dr. Barba was concise ....just went in for one year exam...have not had any problems...based on my experience I would recommend Dr. Barba...and he is my wifes doctor too!
Low Back Surgery just over a year ago. Best decision ever to have Dr. Barba due the surgery. He and the staff at Palamar Hospital were very caring. The results were better than Dr. Barba or I expected. I am so happy I did the surgery.
I was in an incredible amount of pain. My isssue came on quickly. Dr. Barba shared my options and due to the extreme pain I chose the fusion. He was very thorough explaining the procedure. I have been a very active and healthy 73 year old. The surgical team was amazing and helped keep me calm. I am not a good patient in that I have a lot of anxiety regarding medical procedures.
