Dr Gorelik is a decent doctor but her only staff person is a nightmare. She is rude to patients and she is not passing necessary info on to the doctor. I have placed calls and a certified letter to Dr Gorelik to discuss with no response. I am no longer a patient as a result. My advice to to beware of Jeanne.
My mother went to see her and she wrote a script for only half of the medicine and not the liquid to mix it with or the syringes to administer this time around. The time before this she added several scripts to on a sheet and one of them was a controlled substance so the pharmacy would not fill any if them. Had to wait for them to mail the corrected scripts because she is only in the office 1 day a week in Highland park.
Have loved Dr Gorelik’s for 5 years but her office “gatekeeper” Jean is atrocious to deal with. This year I finally gave up after Jean hung up on me three times when I was not finished talking. I called 5 times and sent a certified letter to discuss the front office service with Dr Gorelik and I have gotten no response. I also requested to have my records sent to my new internist and I have gotten no response. This is the worst doctor I have ever come across. She treated my elderly aunt for years with no issues. But when my aunt started suffering from dementia (and living alone) and being hospitalized multiple times for dehydration, Dr. Gorelik refused to do the right thing so kept releasing her back to her home where she lived alone. We even had the police and paramedics questioning her judgment. A nightmare for our whole family. My aunt almost died because of this doctor's judgement. Stay away.
Not very helpful. She didn't take me seriously after complaining about terrible back pain and now I've been diagnosed elsewhere with fibromyalgia. She wouldn't refill my omeraprazole script cause I haven't seen her in a year and that has caused me incredible discomfort. My script was covered by insurance and cost nothing. Now to avoid the pain I had to pay $30 for over the counter variation. Just not happy and her receptionists and office people r extremely this and? unhelpful.
Dr. Gorelik is very patient, kind and thorough. She truly cares about her patients and will keep digging till she figures out the source of problems.
Dr. Gorelik is knowledgeable, through and compassionate. She takes all my concerns seriously and explains everything well. I have referred three family members and two friends to her. They all tried her and are now her patients.
