Avoid Dr. Julia Levai. She is rude, unprofessional, and incompetent. I went to her for symptoms of hypothyroid. She doesn't seem to know anything about thyroid disease. Shocking considering she is an endocrinologist. She insisted on running tests for diabetes (which I knew I didn't have), but ignored what I knew I did have. She even told me that cold hands and feet are NOT a symptom of thyroid disease. When I pointed to a chart on her wall that said it was, she responded: "Ignore that. That isn't right."
