Giving a 2 is generous. Liked the hair, but their lack of respect for my time is my biggest gripe. You tell me to be there at 8 am and I’m there but sat there for almost 3 hours before anyone even showed up. The price for my braids was not discounted as a simple courtesy. Nor was the owner the one doing my hair even though this was the arrangement. This was my first and last time at this shop.
Great job with a great price
Julia was very kind but she absolutely did not do what was expected. I wanted small knotless French curl braids and my hair did not reflect that. My middle part was so bad due to her not even trying to part it correctly. The parts were asymmetrical and extremely to messy. She for some reason made an extra row on one side of my head so it looked lopsided. Both the building and the people within it are very beautiful. I felt so welcomed, and it was nice seeing women so dedicated to their work. My appointment was at 10 am, and it was over in approximately five hours, which was very quick, considering I got knotless braids. #blackowned #womanowned
