During my appointment with Dr. Gutierrez, I did not feel that my pain or my requests for accommodations were adequately addressed. The appointment began approximately 40 minutes late. During the visit, I repeatedly stated that I was still in pain, but this did not appear to be acknowledged. I was not seeking an immediate solution, but rather clear communication and reassurance that my concerns were being taken seriously. Dr. Gutierrez is an excellent OBGYN. Very thorough, listens, and provides helpful information. Very happy with her and AAOBGYN.
I love Dr G! She and her team are fantastic. She’s direct, to the point and will tell you like it is without mincing words, which may not be everyone’s cup of tea but I love her. She literally hand held me through my entire pregnancy and post partum and gave me directions one step at a time, knowing that I was the anxious kind. Told my girlfriend to see a dermatologist. Neglected to tell her that their dermatologist is in house amd the referral would only be good for that dermatologist. We scheduled an appointment at a dermatologist covered under her insurance which the first appointment available was 6 months out. Get there and it turns out we should have been directed to the inhouse dermatologist. Nothing else would be covered. Whoever was on the phone today about this today could also have been more helpful.
