She listens well, is considerate, kind, and very efficient.
Dr. de Almedia is a caring and professional doctor. She always does her homework prior to my visits and works with me for my best health outcomes.
I have already recommended Dr. De Almeida to several friends and my family. Her care, knowledge, respect and professionalism are evident at each visit. She listens, responds and accepts that I may not always sign on to a recommendation.
I found her to be compassionate, but part of a larger system which lumps people in a category and performs umbrella medicine. It takes a committed person to disrupt the standard medical systems and policies and replace them with deep listening and curiosity and patience. I did not find her to be this kind of person.
It bothers me that after many years of being my primary care doctor, Dr. Dealmeida does not appear to know my name.
It feels like Dr. Dealmeida goes through the motions but she really does not connect at all.
After 3 years, she hasn't said my name.
Dr Dealmeida has been my doctor for over 10 years, and she takes of many of my family members as well. She has always been warm, thorough and helpful. Her staff is excellent too.
Lacks warmth and empathy.
