My elderly mother had a rash where no one wants to have a rash, and Dr. Kauffman was the only doctor that was able to help us. We had tried 3 different doctors and tubes and tubes of different creams and nothing helped. She was able to clear it easily and quickly. Will be switching to her for my dermatology needs as well.
BEWARE!!! The $125 fee is for talk ONLY!! Not knowing this, I allowed the doctor to scrape away a small mole on my temple (which took about 5 minutes) and when I went to pay was told $250!!! If you see this doctor be sure to ask the price of anything more than talking to her. I’ll never come back here again.
She was very attentive, listen to my concerns and give me the right treatment. She was sure to prescribe me with low cost medication, as I didn’t have insurance. She called me personally to give me the results of my tests. Very caring doctor . Thank you Dr Julia Kauffman. I will definitely recommend her, she has a friendly staff, and it’s easy to get an appointment as well.
She is the most condescending person I've ever met and I never take the time to write reviews. I don't know who filled out the reviews before -probably herself because this place is clearly meant to generate money for her and not a doctor's office. I was so uncomfortable the entire time. I felt like a inconvenience in her schedule even though I paid $125 for a "15 minute" consultation. No insurance accepted.
I saw her for a maximum of 10 minutes - that was considered a "consultation" and she didn't even know what I was there for. She didn't even listen or care. Took me longer to fill out the forms than actually talking to her with no results and was charged $125 for the visit. I should have gone outside and dumped $125 into a trash chute because it was the equivalent of seeing her. She clearly doesn't care about her patients.
She came in the room and did not seem to know much about my condition. But did prescribed me pain killers even though I was not dealing with any pain. Also recommended other medications that was extremely expensive and not helpful.
