Owners were wonderful! Very humorous and kind! Food was the best Chicken Katsu i’ve ever had! Would recommend 100/10 to anyone!!
I honestly had very low expectations for this place. Seeing such incredibly high reviews online made me a bit suspicious. I’ve driven past this spot on South King Street multiple times and finally decided to drop in a few weeks ago to grab lunch to go. From the outside, the building looks quite aged, and the interior matches that exact same vibe. Solid food, went when they opened, small location but very home-y feel. Food was good in terms of portion and taste. No gimmicks just pure delicious curry.
Everything is homemade and it’s the best curry in America. We live in California and go to Japan often. and never have had curry as good as this.
Very good katsu curry spot run by a couple Japanese ladies. Just came back from Japan and this place is just as legit
