Should be a decent place for those who don't fear therapy will make then relive the trauma of being unable to protect themselves. So as long as you don't have that fear that makes therapy seem worse than death you'll be fine. They treat the person.. Not the file.. They will help you fight, with love & accountability. I trust them with my life, and they have saved me more times than I can count..
So in 2023 I was placed at JSS because I pled guilty to a DUI all because I couldn't prove I was having a medical crisis at the time that I had a small no damage fender bender. I was placed in the care of JSS by the Sandy Justice Court, to do probation as well as community service and ordered to pay yet another penalty on top of the fees to get my car back. I strongly advise anyone on probation to explore other options rather than choosing this facility. Frankly, it feels like a complete joke that the courts permit this place to be recognized as a “treatment” provider. If you’re sentenced to a year of treatment, be prepared for it to take at least double, if not triple, that amount of time with JSS.
