My Wife and I came in together I got sent to Ben Taub for a medical evaluation they did not accept me back because I have high blood pressure and seizures I'm still homeless and they won't even let me speak to my Wife I was told to leave or they'll call the police on me. I am currently diagnosed with bipolar schizophrenia type 2.
They really look out for you there, and are very welcoming!
So me and my boyfriend where brought in together same cop car picked up at the same place. I was kicked out for crying because I really just wanted to talk to my boyfriend and they wouldn't allow it. I'm less than 24 hours out and have been calling almost all day here to talk to him and they won't even take a message to give him to be able to call me... if you have loved ones here it's not the best place if all you have is that person. I'd give it a zero star if it would let me.
They turn everyone away for the slightest reason. If they can't find a valid reason, they will lie on their official reports.
