Juan bid the job in less than an hour after I called him. His original bid was 150.00 higer than my other bid but he lowered his bid enough to get the job and the the competitive bidder was not returning calls etc. Juan had truck problems the first day and started at noon instead of 8am. They cut down the tree in one day but it took them a couple of more days to get to the stump removal. No really big deal. Juan and his brother Carlos were both very polite and conducted themselves professionally.

Juan was really responsive, came the same day I called him, and came back the next day to work on the stumps. He and his crew are all really nice and experienced. We are on a hill so bringing the machine to the backyard was not an easy task, but they managed ok without any complaint. I took out half of star on quality because the big machine scratched a tree on the way to the backyard and they miss a little part of stump. Juan and his crew removed 7 huge monterey pines for me. They were very careful not to damage anything nearby and cleaned up beautifully each day. They even cleaned the gutters of the house at the end of the project. They go out of their way to make the client happy. The job took longer than anticipated and Juan was very good at communicating this to me and returning the next weekend to finish the job.
Talked to Juan about removing stumps and the conversation continued to his doing our landscaping. He helped me decide on the plants that would work best and then followed through within the week. Beautiful job. He went beyond the call of duty by adding a drip system. Very professional.
Juan came out for a free estimate on a Thursday and did the job on a Sunday afternoon. He touched base via e-mail and was available on the phone every time I needed to call. We're now coordinating a retaining wall job......My wife & I wanted to say how pleased we were with Juan's Landscaping out of Concord, CA. Juan and his guys were great! They came right on time in the morning and finished the project efficiently and beautifully. They even made sure everything was cleaned up nicely in the end.
