HOLY BALLS! I took my cat GodHand here to get his balls chopped off. They did the deed, and that's a relief because I didn't want to do it myself. It's been months, and the testicles still haven't grown back! THIS IS WORLD CLASS SERVICE!
So Far So Good I have taken my pets here for about a year. I had a dog that was really really sick, they put her on an IV and kept her for a couple days and saved her life at a much lower cost than any of the pet hospitals in town. They gave her great treatment and kept me informed of what was going on. I have seen about 3 of the vets that practice here, some are better than others, but my animals have always received the treatment they needed. Horrible Vet... if you care about your animals... don't take them here!!! This place is old, smells bad, and they will try to jack up your bill anyway they can! The people working in the front are very rude and are liars! Our dog was in severe hip pain but we couldn't afford to have costly xrays so we agreed to post-date a check so she could be seen. They deposited the check immediately, overdrew my account for hundreds of dollars... then refused to reimburse me and tried to tell me it was my fault!!! Bad business people!
Pretty darn good This animal clinic is very nice, although old. The staff is very professional and nice especially Donna. The prices are comparable to all of the other vets in ABQ. Dr. Sweeney seems a little gruff at first, but truly he is very a kind man. My animals have been going to this clinic for years and I will continue to go there. Thumbs Down Horrible vet. Our dog had cancer, and went to this vet to have the tumor removed. The process of the surgery was so poorly done. They didn't shave her leg where the tumor was to be removed, and the bandage after the surgery was wrapped so tightly around our dog's leg that she had to be taken to emergency care later that evening. The whole staff was rude. Never taking any animal there again.
Highly Recommended I have used the Juan Tabo Animal Clinic for close to 20 years for my dogs. The people there are highly qualified and very caring. I highly recommend it.
Better than most......... Dr. Headberg came highly recommended. I adopted a cat and had the spaying and innoculations done. No post-op infections, no complications, fair prices. All vets seem to be a bit pricey, particularly in Albuquerque (I knock one star off for prices). I haven't found a better one and would recommend this facility if you live in the NE Heights. I also did not experience the items that were reported negatively. Place did not have an odor, and all the clients appeared very satisfied.
Inhumane care My 16 yr old dog was near death and crying in pain. I had called in to ask for medication to calm him down so I could bring him in - Dr. Sweeney refused. My dog was in lots of pain and extremely agitated and I couldn't pick him up because he would bite me. I gave him a pill that someone gave me so I could bring him in. When we called, you made us sit outside in the car because you didn't want other clients hearing him cry. They are very informative and gentle with the animals. they are open weekends and offer easy payment plans if needed. Excellent hours and convenient location.
