From my 1st appointment through surgery through Dr Mira subsequently declaring me cancer free, I can’t say enough about him. He’s hands down the BEST. Takes time to answer all of your questions. Always confident but never sugar coats anything. You can’t spell miracle without MIRA! Thank you again Dr. Mira !!!
Dr. Mira is a very great surgeon. When my Mom went to her first appointment with him, he answered all of her questions about the procedure he was going to perform. He drew pictures to further my Mom's understanding. He met with my family, and I after her 4.5 hour surgery. He spent time with us explaining what he had done. I would recommend him, he is very knowledgeable and caring.

Very pleased! He does what he says he’s going to do, tells you the reason for it and he & his team explain things very well. He is the tumor remover for State of Iowa and felt like I was at Mayo Clinic with his efficient team approach to everything.
Dr. Mira operated on my 19 year old grandson with a rare liver cancer. He saw 2 surgeons prior and we were very pleased to have chosen Dr. Mira. The surgery was long and complicated, Dr. Mira was thorough and had a heart surgeon on standby to retrieve lymph nodes under the heart. My grandson was unhappy with his pain management while he was in the hospital after, but once he was released he recovered quickly.
