I recentl was interested in renting a property until I noticed the deposit being asked for was more than the monthly rent. I called and asked about it and if it was legal and he said Yes, because the utilities total higher than the deposit. I got off the phone becasue this man thought I was an idiot! I was a tenant in a JTS managed property for 4.5 years. While I liked the property itself, my experience with JTS was overwhelmingly negative. I would only suggest living in one of their properties if you’re willing overlook a multitude of issues, such as: - poor maintenance when things go wrong with the property, both in getting maintenance completed and the quality of maintenance.
