I'm writing this for my wife who was referred to Dr. Sonkar because of an indication of her having Sjögren's in a test that our primary doctor ordered. I would NOT recommend going to Dr. Sonkar for several reasons. Maybe other patients had good experiences, however my wife did not. Dr Sonkar deserves more than 5 stars. After over a decade of unexplained pain and fatigue and countless doctors and tests, I finally have found a doctor that actually listens. She is incredibly kind, and bright. She is doing so much good for the community of chronically individuals. For anyone who might suspect hEDS, PLEASE go see her. She did a thorough evaluation, explained everything in detail & communicated the next steps after my diagnosis. Also a plus she has televisits!!!! She checked everything & listened to my main issues without judgement.
I am so thankful that I found Dr Sonkar..! She has helped me so much throughout the year and I highly recommend her! Super nice, easy to talk to, non judgmental. Very thorough: does everything from A-Z to figure out what’s wrong. Highly recommend if you’d like a provider that’s not in and out in 2 minutes like my last Rheumotologist..! Thank you Dr Sonkar..!
