Absolutely wonderful stop. This is the best . Perfect stop for breakfast! exactly what I was looking for! It sad to say that places like this are rapidly disappearing. So stop in support places like this. Phenomenal breakfast.. I love going to places like this when Im out of town and it hit the spot.
My Grand Father, My Dad, my son and I all love to go out to eat here. My grandpa took my Dad as a boy here, My Father took me as a boy here and I take my son here to eat. We all come to eat together here as well. Its terribly sad to hear in November 1st of 2025 will be the last time this iconic building is open or ever seen again as it is set to be demolished. Please go and visit while you still have the chance. Just another piece of historical Traverse City being demolished and forgotten. RIP J&S 1938-2025

I got the classic burger - it was really good! The bun was grilled, toppings were plentiful and fresh. The fries were not seasoned much but I still enjoyed them. The grilled cheese was nice and crispy on the outside and loaded with cheese! Outside seating was comfortable and the staff brought a bowl of water and treat for our dog. Looking forward to coming back for breakfast!
