I was a little bit disappointed in the food. The restaurant was very pretty and has a gorgeous mural up front. The Malaysian food is what we came for and ordered beef rendang, which was tasty but rather hard and dried out, not at all tender. The char quay teow I enjoyed, but heavy soy sauce. We managed to make 2 dinners off of it but 2 dishes for $45 after tip was harsh, especially when it wasn't that great.

I think your experience in J's cuisine depends on what choice of dish you order. I see some great reviews for this restaurant and based on that I visited this with my family. But honestly, was not impressed with the food. After eating the authentic Sichaun Chinese food, trying this fusion food did not appeal much. Been going to this restaurant for years, food is never disappointing. Service is always professional. You always get the table. Rolls are nice and they keep changing rolls menu. Menu is pretty vast and you can find good vegetarian options.

Great service with a friendly staff, delicious food, clean and organized environment. I definitely recommend!
