I love this store. The people in the meat department is very respectful and helpful. I asked one of the employees to slice some meat (I think he said his name was Ed) he was very respectful and nice.

I have been going into that store since the late 40s--long before JR bought it. It was a great store then and still is as far as I am concerned. I now live in Nebraska but make it back to my hometown every year and JR`s is the last stop we make before we leave town--always got a cooler full of meat. Glad that they are still doing great

First time at Jrs was on Saturday. We have been enjoying all the amazing meats we purchased for a steal. With a family of six including two boys(11&13) we go through a lot of meat. The price and quality is amazing. I am hooked it was like walking into the small town grocery store in SC where I grew up. I also found a large bag of raw peanuts for boiling. This SC girl is in love with Jrs. The banana laffy taffy at the checkout was also a great find(my boys and I love it).
