I stayed at Cohannet in 2020, during the challenges of the lockdown. Even in such a difficult time, this facility helped me more than any other place I had been before. The staff truly cared for us, and the treatment I received was life-changing. I even experienced one of the best holidays of my life while there. i would like to start by giving Jill Julian DMH worker huge recognition amazing worker truly. i was here january 2023- june. i’d love to give this place 0 stars but google makes you at least do 1. this place was absolutely disgusting i was here for 6months last year. the shower drains flood and had a terrible sewer smell. there’s only two showers in the hall with your rooms along with two bathrooms with 2 stalls in each.there’s two other showers and two more bathrooms in the other hall but they don’t use them cause… welp idk... read more
This place is a unhygienic inhumane place, the showers are filled with mold, and due to that you have to buy your own shoes and clean this bathrooms yourself. Some staff are horrible taking down the kids in the place to make themselves feel better, along with restraints that are unnecessary and restraints where people who are unqualified are participating.
