My husband and I were referred to JR by our financial planner, so there's a double review right there! JR was a breeze to work with. He was patient with my many questions and concerns, as well as my husband's desire to add one more thing, and one more thing. He does a very thorough job with his estimates and lets you know up front about any additional charges that come up because of last minute changes, etc. He went to bat for us with the city when they dragged out our permitting process unnecessarily. We hired JR to build a covered deck for us. We could not be happier with the results. What sets JR apart from other contractors is he takes accountability for his work. If it is not up to standard - he points it out and makes it right. We had several items which were not done to spec or the level of quality we expected, and he caught them (sometimes before us) and NEVER argued about fixing it - he insisted it would be as promised.
