My husband and I were referred to JR by our financial planner, so there's a double review right there! JR was a breeze to work with. He was patient with my many questions and concerns, as well as my husband's desire to add one more thing, and one more thing. We hired JR to build a covered deck for us. We could not be happier with the results. What sets JR apart from other contractors is he takes accountability for his work. If it is not up to standard - he points it out and makes it right. We had several items which were not done to spec or the level of quality we expected, and he caught them (sometimes before us) and NEVER argued about fixing it - he insisted it would be as promised. JR was the general contractor on our house which was the first house we built from the ground up. He was knowledgeable and professional. He answered our questions and made adjustments for us along the way. He even helped with several issues that came up a year later. He treated us as individuals wanting to build a semi custom home that we would be happy with and not just clients that were spending money on a house.
