McHale bought my pest control company a couple years ago. I now pay more for worse service. It is absolutely minimal service, if that. The first tech they sent claimed he knocked on the door and I wasn't there. I was. He eft and they charged me. When I called to discuss this I was told he was being fired, as though that was somehow helpful to me. We have been loyal customers for years, including hiring them to insulate our crawl space less than three years ago. We paid more to them because we trusted them to know what they are doing. We took all of their recommended advise on scope of services. They especially sold the rockwool type insulation as being resistant to mold growth. We had never had an issue with mold, but figured we’d just go with the best. The job came to over $8k. Fast forward to today and we are trying to sell the house. I paid for a yearly service. Included was a visit 3 times during the year to check my property. They haven't showed up once since July last year and I'm half way through my contract.
I got a renewal notice today and realized that JP McHale has not been to my house since the first service call when I signed up. They even put bait to check for termites and haven't checked them. I thought I was paying for service, not insurance. I called and was told that I have to call if I want preventative service.
I been using them for over 18 years they are the best !!

HAD TICKS 2 WEEKS LATER CALLED COMPLAINED ERIK IN COSTUMER SERVICE POOR ATTITUDE TOLD THEY WOULD TREAT AGAIN AT FULL PRICE...I HAVE USED LIVING ASSETS IN THE PAST AND WILL GO BACK THERE TREATMENTS WORKED AND LASTED....
