"Every moment is a chance to turn it all around" is complete and total garbage. I was a patient of Ms. Cavanaugh. I was trying to figure out how to shake hopelessness and deep depression. I am in such a state that Ms. Cavanaugh told me (after weeks of sessions) that I am so hopeless she isn't able to help me. I took my daughter to see Joy after doing very extensive research as she suffers from severe ADHD and associated depression. Needless to say after 3 sessions my daughter’s mental health was worse than when we started. By the time my daughter convinced me to never take her back to this place, she was suffering daily panic attacks. Since leaving Joy and finding a new (and amazing) therapist she has not had a single panic attack and is thriving like we had hoped when we originally sought out therapy to begin with.
