Denied a claim due to a rusty nail. I am a care giver for a disabled person and she can’t get up stairs to check on anything. When she noticed spots on the ceiling downstairs I went upstairs for her and found two closets had damage to the ceilings and one small bathroom. The adjuster denied her claim saying it was done a long time ago due to a rusty nail. Now she is out of pocket getting her ceilings repaired. If she could have gotten upstairs to look at it she would have caught it sooner but such is the way of the disabled.... read more
