I was scheduled for a filling with Sunny Chen, and he said we would try it without numbing, but if you feel sensitivity, raise your left hand. At first, it was fine, but then it started hurting and feeling extremely sensitive, so | raised my hand, expecting to be numbed, but he said he wouldn't numb me, but he will go slower, which he did, and it was extremely painful the entire time. The orthodontist doesn't know what he's talking about, he kept telling me that the only way I can have braces is if we extract teeth. I went to another orthodontist, and they told me it's unnecessary and will destroy and flatten my face. Additionally, if you have insurance, they may convince you to have unnecessary procedure in exchange for the money. I expected better, I will not be returning to this dentist. It just seems like a huge scam to me.

I wish I could give zero stars. This dentist seems more interested in my wallet than my teeth. Every visit is a new 'urgent' problem that requires an expensive procedure. They push for unnecessary treatments and constantly try to upsell you. They're great at finding issues, even ones other dentists have missed... conveniently after I've signed up for a payment plan. Be prepared for a huge bill, even for a simple cleaning. I won't be going back, and I strongly advise you to get a second opinion before agreeing to anything.
