Beware, a place that always has a sale means that it never has one. You enter the store and nobody greets you, they all seem too focused on their laptops doing seemingly nothing important. My wife and I purchased furniture from Joybird on two separate occasions. Both times they upsold a 5-year protection plan that would cover pet damage, which is offered by ServeCo. They ensured us that the plans cover all pet damage. The furniture and protection plans were extremely expensive. Recently, our pets damaged the furniture. This is when we found out the protection plans they sell are crap (we filed a request on 1/9/2026). The plan is piece of mind, nothing more--god forbid you need to use it. We bought a couch a few years ago and were talked into getting the protection plan by the salesperson. We recently submitted a stain and were told that it’s not covered for reasons that don’t make sense. It feels like a scam and I’m disappointed we wasted $450.
The 14th St showroom is a wonderland of options. We got great help navigating style and fabric options from knowledgeable sales staff. We’ve been so happy with our Joybird sofa (Holt sectional), great value. Two cousins also have the same sofa!
We had a great experience buying our couch with Makayla. She was patient, worked with us on a timeline that worked for us to finish our order, and helped us to troubleshoot delivery. The dog approves!
