I would give this research location and Dr. Sheppard a zero score, but it’s not an option. My appointment was scheduled at 9am, I did not get taken back until 9:30am, then had an anatomy scan performed for about an hour. I sat in that cold room and wasn’t even offered a blanket while i waited for another hour for Dr. Sheppard to come back and speak to me. Dr. Sheppard is one of the kindest and most caring doctors I have ever seen. I went to her office filled with anxiety and concerns and she took the time to do a meticulous exam and assuaged my fears with her warm and comforting words of wisdom. She explained everything in detail and really listened to my questions and concerns. I feel like she is the answer to my prayers and offered me such excellent care and peace of mind. No one ever wants to be in a position where they need an MFM, but if you do, I truly hope you end up with Dr. Sheppard. She is hands down one of the most thorough, compassionate, and skilled doctors I have ever met. She takes her time in every single aspect of care.
