Good Southern buffet This restaurant offers a good buffet with fried chicken, fried shrimp (and boiled shrimp) among other entrees. They have a good salad bar and dessert bar. The buffet is similar to their sister restaurant, the Blue Willow in Social Circle. It's a bit pricey (more than Golden Corral or Ryans), so I don't go here often. They do have seating for large parties.
It's not the same since the reopen. The sheet listing that days menu, Sunday had no roast pork or ham which if you read while waiting in line and then can't get you've got to rethink what you want quick because people are waiting in line. They had been open less than an hour. It's hard to see what all is available and the dessert is brought by your server who instantly apologized for the size of the slice of cake or pie because it really did look like you were getting a sample slice on a small plate. Good, Southern country cooking! Friendly servers! A nice buffet (except for the temporary changes during the Coronavirus) at a good price. Wonderful fried green tomatoes, fried chicken, coconut cake, seafood on Friday and Saturday nights. I eat here at least once a month. :-)
