Our father was there last Thanksgiving. Everyone was excessively kind and considerate to our large family ... the intake coordinator met with all 10 of us before his admission because there was mixed feelings about hospice
After my mother was transferred, I stayed with her over night. She was strong and in good spirts. Nurse on duty basically forced my mom to take pain meds, even tho she told the nurse she can’t handle morphine. They refused her any other less potent drug. My mother allowed minimal dosing then said no more meds until she sees the attending doctor in the morning.
