If you’re committed to saving your life from addiction this is the place to go. I’ve tried several inpatient rehabs and Journey is the most recovery-minded place I’ve been.
I came to the Baylor house after I did 3 months stuck in orientation at Odyssey house, it was night and day difference. At Baylor's, they let you keep your dignity without treating you like an irresponsible child who cant be trusted. We get to have money on us to go shopping at the store on Saturdays, and there's only 14 clients so we get one on one personalized care. This is a coed facility and sexual relationships are allowed to happen. I sent my partner here for recovery and the last chance of our relationship and he ended up having sex in the treatment center and subsequently getting someone pregnant. Now my life is in shambles and no one is taking accountability. He is not sober anymore and on a full bender and being extremely abusive because I called the treatment center out on his sexual.
