My experiences with Dr. Roussel, both prior to and following the procedure, were perceived as rushed, abrupt, and ultimately unsatisfactory. Specifically, the pre-procedure consultation failed to adequately address my concerns and pain levels, and the post-procedure explanation of results, which is standard practice, was not comprehensively provided.
My doctor sent me to Dr Roussel for a GI issue. I'm 71 and only experiencing this for first-time. As requested I was told to follow up sane day to inquire about my appointment. The young lady that took my call, refused to give me any information after repeatedly trying to explain. Finally I simply said, so how do they handle referrals, her answer was, put everything in a box and draw. Dah. I have called three times today only getting a voice message. March 2024 I was scheduled for a visit with a gastroenterologist about having a colonoscopy. I met with Dr Roussel, he was very professional answered all of my questions and alleviated all of my concerns. Day of the Colonoscopy he did the same. Dr and his team were phenomenal! Highly recommend!!
Very impressed by how smoothly everything went. From the time we arrived to discharge was like a well oiled machine. Friendly and professional were the staff and doctor.
Never felt rushed from the consult to the colonoscopy. As a patient I appreciate “nice doctors” and yes, Dr. Roussel has a great bedside manner, but I appreciate his open and honest outlook on my health, and his willingness to listen and address my concerns. Also, the staff members I interacted with at the clinic were all equally professional and helpful. I would not hesitate to return or reach out to his office if I needed to.
