They never give you back your deposit. I own them 1,250$ as a security deposit, and No one will answer you if you call… like they know you are calling for your money

Such a cool way to rent a car, highly recommend!! The process is all remote so you reserve your car online, show up to their parking lot & then it just unlocks when you arrive at your pickup time! The car was super clean & the team was really communicative. I wanted to extend my trip so I just texted my Joulez agent and that was it, so easy. Honestly the best car rental experience I've had. Not to mention GREAT for someone trying to rent an environmentally friendly car.

I booked directly instead of going through Turo, and the whole process was clunky and terrible. You have to go to a parking lot and communicate via text to have someone unlock the car remotely - and they had problems both on pick-up and return doing this. I ended up standing around 15-20 minutes both times, standing by a car and waiting aimlessly for the doors to magically open. It took forever, and you're just standing in a parking lot, waiting for text msg responses. Then afterwards, I would get extra charges added for mil... read more
