Came here and had the best experience. They calmly detangled my hair, quickly dried it, took me to the chair and blew my hair out so nicely. The price was perfect I was so happy to pay less than $80 for a wash/blowout with curls.
I have been coming here the 3yrs ive lived in Maryland. I live across town over an hr on the bus, but it's worth it. I went to another shop and never again. I will keep coming here for my hair needs. There are some things I don't like is I have to request certain products in my hair but I watch how other customers don't have to. I think all customers should be treated fairly. I had a very upsetting experience here today. I called ahead and was told I could come in. When I arrived, I was seated for about 5 minutes before being taken to get washed, but then I was left under the dryer for 2 hours. As I was about to leave, the owner did attempt to blow me out. Regarding my style, I had asked for clip-ins. I was quoted one price over the phone, but in person was given a different price. If you are looking for a place to get a last minute blowout, I would recommend Jossy's. Jossy has never disappointed me and no appointment is necessary. For NJ, ladies you would love your dubbie! Just expect to wait a little while if you are walking in.
