i live in Ashland, ky and my daughter in law and i stop in Josie and they have great food.. and plenty.. you dont leave hungry.. the best place to eat..
We eat at the counter often on Saturday morning. We consistently receive good food and service. Sandy knows how I like my eggs (which is something I struggle with when we sit at a table) and makes sure they are correct before she brings them out. It's the little things that make you return to a restaurant and her service is one of them.
Traveling from St. Louis to the Blue Ridge Parkway, we stopped at Josie’s on our second day on the road. We had the best breakfast of eggs Benedict, cheese grits and the most wonderful coffee ever! I highly recommend this quaint little cafe. The food is amazing, atmosphere and employees are extremely pleasant and friendly. The service was unsurpassed. If I’m ever in Lexington again I’ll be sure to eat there again.

Go to the bar and meet Sandy. Not only is the food amazing, she is a big reason why I’m a regular at the restaurant.

We had breakfast here today. The biscuits and gravy, omelet and hash brown casserole were so good. We had plenty to take home also. Glad we came!
