Dr. Josie Ramos Moragues is the most intuitive psychiatrist I have had the fortune to treat me and help me through the most difficult times in my life over 20 years, though 10-15 years go by not seeing her, she picks up right away. Highly recommend her. My MD (Genetics) husband is impressed with how she has helped me.
Save yourself the time. I was referred to Dr. Ramos by my psychologist who I have a wonderful relationship with. I took his word about Dr. Ramos' expertise and I've been calling every day since last Tuesday without any returned call - her voicemail still has a cpre-Holiday greeting. Disappointed with my referral and have no choice but to go back to the last psychiatrist I saw (who was better known as "Dr. Drivethrough.").
I agree this doctor is amoral, cruel and has literally broken her Hippocratic Oath. I am a physician. I have do not have a psychiatric diagnosis and am not under her treatment. However I have never seen a doctor so inappropriately rude and without an ounce of compassion for patients. When I initially telephoned, her assistant Diego Perez refused to give me his name OR her correct spelling. Unprofessional. Unbelievable. Very very sad she is treating patients with psychiatric disorders.
I love Dr. Ramos, she's,a,great Doctor. I would not change her for anyone else. She has helped me alot. I am a very satisfied patient and am very happy with her.

In my experience, she wrote the prescription and then tossed me out. Usually there were one or two people waiting by the time I left. My guess is she treats everyone that way, lining up as many 5 minute appointments as possible. Also, she had trouble remembering who I was and what medication I was on.
