My husband and I were both referred to Dr Tournas for MOHS surgery. Neither of us will ever return due to our experiences. At 5 weeks post op I had 2 infections in spite of following recommended care. When I came in with concerns, Dr Tournas and his nurse made me feel that I was over reacting and that it will just take 8-10 weeks. The biopsy indicated 2 infections. Everyone at this office is so polite and professional. Dr Tournos is very caring and excellent at Mohs surgery.
I had a good experience at this office yesterday. Sure, receiving a melanoma diagnosis is scary, but not the end of the world. The Slow Mohs procedure was painless and quick, like the banter with staff!! The pathology report came back from Sonora Quest in 24 hours, so now I can go back to the have the crater sealed up. Highly recommend Dr Tournas and the Lead RMA Danielle, plus the funny gal out front.
