I really like Dr. Shatsky. He sits down with you, shows you on you x-ray ( or whatever diagnostic test you have had done) and educates you as to what the results mean. He talks about treatment options available to you and you both decide what is best. Any time I've had a visit with him I've left his office with a better understanding about what is causing my pain issues and feel assured that I'm going to be getting the best treatment available to me. I have been fighting arthritic back issue for years. I did PT, ablations and injections. Late Nov 2023 after months of home remedies/PT and Pain meds I went to my PCP and she recommended Dr Shatsky. At my appt Dr Shatsky had me do x-rays again, this time leaning forward and backwards for side x-ray of my back he found my L5 had become grossly instable. It was moving forward and back 1cm(normal is 2-3mm). He did not sugar coat the seriousness of this. He started the pre-approval from my insurance company( one with color in it... read more

When I met Dr Shatsky the first time, he was all business and professional when talking about my options for surgery. I had surgery a year ago (fusion L4-S1), and he has an amazing bedside manner for a surgeon (sorry, have met some interesting surgeons in my past), and he genuinely cares about you. Dr. Shatsky is a top notch surgeon and really takes the time to give you the care necessary for the end result, which is healing. I had been living with severe neck, shoulder and arm pain, numbness and loss of strength for years. After seeing Dr. Shatsky, we decided on surgery, C-3 through C6 discectomy and fusion. It's been three months and I feel like a new man! So blessed that Dr. Shatsky was my surgeon! I can't say enough about the care he gave me! Thank you, Doc!
