I met Dr. Luginbuhl for the first time last week about a heel spur. I expected to get a cortisone shot and go home. Dr. Luginbuhl explained the options available for treatment. Instead of automatically injecting cortisone, he listened to my concerns, and then offered the options of specific exercises, physical therapy, arch supports or a brace you can wear at night.
