The refraction technologist was exceptional. She was professional AND personable- a wonderful combination. Dr. Herz was fine. It was obvious he’s a busy man.

Dr. Herz is without a doubt one of the friendliest and most knowledgeable doctors I've met. I recently took my mother to NorthShore Hospital for cataract surgery on both eyes and everything turned out great! Dr. Herz's knowledge and expertise in opthalmology is exceptional. He explained my mother's eye condition and answered all of our questions. The surgery was performed with the utmost care and the entire staff was incredibly kind. We could not have asked for a better outcome. With Dr. Herz you're in excellent care.
I would never recommend this Dr. I have an issue that when it flares up it’s an emergency and I need certain drops asap. I know I hadn’t seen him in a few yrs and that he would want to see me. When I asked for the drops I said I will make an appointment but please don’t delay the drops since I know it will take a while to get me in or please take me as an emergency patient. They would not see me as an emergency and would not give me my drops. As a Dr. Knowing how severe this gets how dare he doesn’t help me. Just horrible Ne... read more
