Saturday October 17th, 2026 was my first visit to Jose’s Restaurant. It will also be my last. To be fair, the food at Jose’s Restaurant was not atrocious. But it is not nearly good enough to warrant a return visit. I had the green enchiladas (served with rice and beans). The enchiladas lacked any zip. Disappointing ! They say they have caldo de rez but it’s not it’s beef Caldo. There is a big difference false advertising, I love my shanks in my Caldo and that’s what Caldo.de Rez is!!!! I’ll never go there again!!! Make some real call now with real shank meat, and I will be there every weekend!!
Our family has enjoyed Jose's for many, many years. Their menu has a variety of choices for everyone in the party. Reasonably priced and the food is always consistent. When we come into B/CS, we try to stop by! I'm behind on pics, will add some as I can:
Maybe the worst Mexican food we have ever had. I ordered the 3 Cheese enchiladas and they were obviously pre-frozen and heated in a microwave along with the beans and rice. My wife’s Chimichanga was average at best. Service was slow and they seemed to not care. Just don’t even bother to go here. Also the chips come with one salsa(refillable) and it was not very good. I don’t like to leave negative reviews but this place needs to drastically up their quality of food!!!
