Jose Trujillo grew up in Littleton and always dreamed of owning a restaurant. In 1957 he shared that dream with his new bride, Phyllis. After serving in the Marines, working for various restaurants and finally for the Martin Company (now Lockheed Martin) he quit in 1966 to pursue his dream.

I love the personal attention the team at Jose's offers! They strive to accommodate allergy needs and remember their guests. Best spot in town!
I don't dine in due to the atmosphere/vibe inside, but the wet burritos and tamales are killer! Money well spent in my opinion.
Real authentic Mexican food. The owner is from Mexico and visits family there. Long time residents in the area raising kids here. Very friendly and accommodating if you tell them how you'd like it custom. Very reasonable prices and servings. Main St or side street parking. City parking half a block to the north at 2nd & Elm. If they can't cook it right in a microwave I wouldn't trust them behind a stove. Horrible food. Don't trust the 4.2 star rating.
