I went to have my Serpentine belt replaced. They replaced it and it was still making the noise. I took it back an the owner looked at it and said it was fine. Well, ot wasn't! We even asked if it needed to be tightened and he said no. He even said the brand new alternator must be making noise!!!! I took it to another mechanic and the belt was loose!!!!!!!
