Been there a couple of times and it's is worth the ferry ride. The only thing I don't like about it is it's closed on the weekends! Fabulous food, really great atmosphere and wonderful service.

I recently started working in the area and I am trying new restaurants. Yesterday was the first time that I tried Joseph’s. The service was excellent and although almost every table was taken it was not too noisy. I had salad and pasta and both were excellent. Definitely will go back again.

The best Italian food by far I had on my own restaurant Italian and my chef was from Napoli but let me tell you Joseph’s beets everyone superb if I could I will rate this place more 10 stars excellent

Music can be a bit loud at time, limited selection of alcohol (only two gins, Bombay Sapphire and Hendrick's (and they didn't even have cucumber slices) but they more than make up for it in the healthy, and I do mean healthy, pours. Reasonable Manhattan prices, $13.50 for a gin and tonic or a martini. I was drinking Hendrick's gin and tonics, and did I mention the "healthy" pours?
