Way Out of Line – There were two screws missing from the carburetor. Brought it in so they could replace them. Without calling me they replace the entire carburetor and racked up a bill of $150. Then bought 2 feet of clear fuel line from them. They wanted $5.00 . Hardware store sells the same for 39 cents a foot. This place is nothing but a rip off.
"Your mower will be ready in a week." A week later "We can't get parts," -- same for three weeks. Finally: "You're missing the blade and retainer washers; we have to order the parts." I tried explaining that _I_ had the blade and parts, which I had to remove in order to discover what was wrong with the machine. The clerk on the phone kept interrupting, telling me that I had to be quiet if I wanted to hear him tell me that they had to order the blade !! Took the mower in to replace broken blade bolt. A fantastic customer experience, really – I was inspired to reward Joseph's great service that I registered on CitySearch so I could write this review! Yesterday, after putting the wrong gas into our Echo blower, I (humbly) brought the blower into Josephs. Most of me assumed they wouldn't do much, thanks to my bonehead move. Instead, this was my experience: one of the guys who worked there held the door open when I arrived, and another (Daniel) was quick with a smile and asked, "What can we do for you today?" Joseph's Lawnmower Repair - The real deal! – This is a store where the guys that do gardening work go, so don't expect a new and shiny place. It is not expensive and they truly seem to care about doing a good job. They fixed my lawnmower with a leaky gas tank for free when it was covered by a warrantee. They also told within minutes of my arrival when a repair was not worth it on the same mower (bent crank shaft).
